My experience in a nutshell:
Leadership & organizational development
I have strategically developed complex organizations - as a city councillor, board member and entrepreneur. In Winterthur, I realigned the municipal police force, merged the fire department and civil defense and created a crisis-proof management tool in the form of the municipal management team.
My leadership is fact-based, strong in implementation and participative. Even under pressure - for example when stabilizing Stadtwerk Winterthur - I maintain an overview. I consistently carry out reorganizations with the involvement of the specialist and management levels. Today, I accompany organizations through change - with vision, structure and a clear goal: to make an impact.
Communication & Public Affairs
For me, strategic communication is a management task. As the person responsible for strategic communication at the FDFA, I developed cross-divisional concepts - for example on Switzerland-EU, neutrality and the UN Security Council. In Winterthur, as a member of the government, I successfully communicated voting campaigns for major projects such as the construction of the new police building and supported them with stakeholder management.
I proved my worth in internal and external crisis communication when leading Stadtwerk out of a crisis. Today, I advise decision-makers in challenging communication situations - from reputation enhancement to communication concepts for change processes.
Clients
I bring my experience to administrative and foundation boards—with a focus on impact, strategy, and governance. My network extends from federal government in Bern to cantonal and municipal governments and administrations. As a trusted advisor, I counsel C-level executives, facilitate workshops, and provide support for strategic decisions.
I understand political mechanisms and speak the language of government, politics, and the media. As a lecturer and author, I share my knowledge—always in a practical and well-founded way. I open doors, ask critical questions, and work alongside my clients as an equal partner.

My expertise is based on over 20 years of practical experience in management positions, complemented by sound further training: from the CAS qualification in Leadership to the Executive MBA in Business Engineering at the University of St. Gallen.
Whether it's communication at government level or change projects in public administration - I combine theory, practice and strategy to achieve a lasting impact.
Lecturer at leading universities
I teach strategic communication, leadership and public affairs at institutions such as the University of St. Gallen, the ZHAW, the MAZ, the FHNW, the HWZ, the St. Gallen Academy and the Bern University of Applied Sciences.
My teaching is practice-oriented, scientifically based and fed directly from the reality of administration, politics and organizations.
Modern working tools
In a specific context, I also use tools from leading specialists in information technology (IT) and artificial intelligence (AI), such as "Delos Analysts", and contribute to their further development in line with requirements.
